BioI just really don't know what to say. I'm not very good at talking about myself, so I suppose, if you're really interested in reading this blurb, that you'll just have to bear with me. I'm Billy. I'm seventeen years old and I'm about to graduate from Hampshire Unit School, a hick reservation nestled deep in a region of Tennessee known only as Bum-Fuck Egypt. I can't wait to be released.
So I listen to rock music. I listen to some other music, too, though. I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to auditory groovin', but the dude has got no mercy for rap. I cannot stand the hip-hop genre, nor can I stand (usually) those misguided souls who subscribe to it. Rap is a terrible encroachment on the territory of music. I'm kinda in a band right now, but I'm not really in the band. We don't do anything; the other people just seem to think it's cool to be in a band. I think they're in love with the idea of being a cog in a music-making machine, even if said machine has fallen into disrepair. Yeah, so I'll probably not "be in that band" for long.
I like to fancy myself an intellectual, in the fashion of other fools like me. I'm a bit of an oxymoron, honestly. I'm a deeply rational fellow, but I will be the first to tell you that there is something else out there, some sort of supernatural eye that's keeping the third planet under close supervision, all strands of spirit and magic and flow that hold out feeble flesh panels together. I know this, but do not know how I know this. But I know what I know, and I know what I don't know, at least. That's more than most people can say.
I've got a few deeply held beliefs. I believe that the fabrication of independent thought and patriotism are in direct opposition to one another. I believe that the window to the world is best with a TV in front of it. I believe that there are only two unstoppable forces in this world: the human spirit, and Chuck Norris' vicious roundhouse kicks. I concede that the grass is, at times, greener on the other side, but it is also not guaranteed to be authentic, honest-to-god grass. I would choose genuine earth over synthetic dust anyday.
